I just quit smoking and have asthma. are there certain exercises I can do to condition my lungs for running?

Asthma since was you should take it up hope it up hope it helped.

For the week then laps and now he walkksk once around are track witch is 14 mile and 4llaps is running laps and so on and so.
My friend dose and now he walks lap for the week then laps with stops.

the good exercise to our lungs is walking beside the sea or ocean the fresh air help clean our lungs …

To be blunt and to the point…NO you cannot. Because your lungs cannot be rehabilitated or exercised like people think. When you train like with running, your conditioning you body (mainly your heart) NOT your LUNGS. No matter what somebody says…you cannot “train” your lungs.
If it makes you feel any better…nobody can train there lungs so to speak:-) You can just slow down or stop the damage being done by smoking. Good luck with your running!
